Dutch cartoonist Leendert Jurriaan Jordaan has worked for a number of newspapers and magazines in the Netherlands, including Het Leven, De Groene Amsterdammer, het Parool and Vrij Nederland. He was also active as a film and theatre critic.

« Let justice be done ! » A striking early work about the French Revolution and the terror inspired by the implacable sans-culottes and their guillotine. The artist was only 24.
