Champagne Giesler (Friedrich Giesler, 1793-1870, founder in 1827 of Mumm & Cie with Gotlieb Mumm, created his own Champagne House in Avize in 1837, taken over by Lanson). Important business correspondence from Friedrich Giesler Fils (b. 1850), London, 5 October 1878-16 June 1879, with the parent company in Avize, a few kilometres from Epernay in the Marne department. Nearly 200 documents in English, mounted on tabs, mainly letters on blue paper in-4°. Black half-percaline with corners, handwritten label on spine « 20. London du 5 octobre 1878 au 16 juin 1879 ».
