Striking manuscript. The philosophy of Yin and Yang applied to predictions of the future according to the genitals.

In-Yô

The drawings, with the exception of the two early presenting two lovers, show different states of the female and male genitalia and were each made in the form of a medallion, impressively illustrating the calligraphic texts in Sosho, cursive style characterized mainly by a very abbreviated pattern of characters, sometimes even written in a single paintbrush movement. It is generally considered the most difficult of the five major styles of Japanese calligraphy.

The drawings, particularly realistic will be communicated on request.

The manuscript slightly soiled. Splendid and rare piece however.
